Scientifically outstanding gynaecological expertise

The recent results of the research group led by Univ.-Prof. PD Dr. Gernot Hudelist, MSc, have received international recognition: Two of the group's scientific publications have been awarded the title of "Top Cited Article 2025." This distinction is reserved for studies that are cited particularly frequently worldwide and thus significantly influence medical advancements.

The focus of this award-winning research is on modern, non-invasive diagnostics for endometriosis – with the aim of identifying the disease more precisely, accurately assessing its extent, and gaining a better understanding of symptoms. These findings now form the basis for a new level of quality in individualized treatment planning.

What does this mean for patients?

They benefit directly from internationally leading expertise. Through the use of highly specialized ultrasound technology and structured diagnostic concepts, we can differentiate between existing endometriosis and make targeted, individualized, and evidence-based treatment decisions – and, if necessary, rule out endometriosis as a cause of menstrual discomfort.

Our goal is clear: top-level international medical care – combined with personalized attention and maximum precision.

This award is both confirmation and motivation for us: for diagnostics and therapy that are consistently based on the best available scientific findings – for the benefit of our patients.
