Univ. Prof. PD. Dr. Gernot Hudelist, MSc was granted teaching authorization at the renowned Jagiellonian University in Krakow (Poland) due to his outstanding scientific and clinical qualifications. It is the oldest Slavic, second oldest Central European and one of the oldest universities in Europe. As of 2021, the CWTS Leiden Ranking, which takes into account the scientific performance of more than 1200 universities worldwide, placed the Jagiellonian University 250th worldwide, 74th regionally and 1st nationally. The Department of Gynecology at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow is one of the largest ESGO-certified gynecological tumor centers in Europe and is the largest center in the country for the surgical treatment of extensive endometriosis. Close scientific cooperation and surgical interventions are part of the responsibilities of Univ. Prof. PD. Dr. Gernot Hudelist, MSc, who has been working as a lecturer and surgeon at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow for over two years.

Prof. Hudelist recenlty completed the Level II of the board examination and special training in Neuropeleveology provided by the International Society for Neuropelveology (ISON). The International Society of Neuropelveology (ISON) was founded 2014 on the initiative of Marc Possover with several individuals united by a common interest in the expanding field of neuropelveology. The ISON provides the essential infrastructure and organizational framework for the support and development of neuropelveological education and research worldwide. Prof. Hudelist is a ISON member and holds the Level I and II competence for Clinical Neuropelveology as well as Nerve Sparing Techniques.

Prof. Gernot Hudelist, MD, PD, MSc was recently accredited as Master Surgeon Minimally Invasive Gynaecology and Master Surgeon Endometriosis Care by the US-based international Surgical Review Corporat, (SRC https://www.surgicalreview.org)
Established in 2003, SRC is a nonprofit, patient safety organization that develops and administers best-in-class accreditation programs for medical professionals, surgeons, hospitals and freestanding outpatient facilities throughout the world. These programs improve the safety and quality of patient care and lower the overall costs associated with successful treatment. Data, provided by program participants, is used to determine which treatments achieve the best outcomes. This information enables clinicians, patients, payors and policymakers to make informed decisions that improve health care delivery. Professor Hudelist says that "....the accreditation was not only an outstanding award, but it also proved useful to reflect my work. Professor Gernot Hudelist received the 2023 Janos Veres Memorial Medal of the Hungarian Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy for outstanding scientific work in the field of gynaecological surgery. The price is awarded to internationally renowned gynaecological surgeons worldwide and is the highest award to be achieved and given by the society.

Gernot Hudelist, PD, MD, MSc was recently awarded a Full Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology by the Austrian president Dr. van der Bellen and the Austrian Ministry of Science at the Medical University for outstanding achievements in clinical as well as scientific research in the field of surgical gynaecology and reproductive surgery. The award follows his longstanding clinical and international research activities in his field of interest. Professor Hudelist ranges amongst the very view who have achieved this award over the past decades in Austria.

As part of the 6th International Endometriosis Congress in Bordeaux, France, Univ.Doz.Dr. Gernot Hudelist, MSc was elected as board member of the European Endometriosis League (EEL).
The world-renowned society of scientific research and therapy of endometriosis appoints only 5 selected members for this function worldwide. Dr. Gernot Hudelist has been active as surgical teacher of the EEL Masterclass for many years. As new board member, he will continue his activity as surgical teacher and will also set new priorities in the field of surgical training.
